Reality TV is a staple part of TV these days, including shows such as X-Factor and Keeping up with the Kardashians. 

Do you think reality TV is good or bad?

Theories about why it's popular include gaining access into the normal lives of people, that we wouldn't usually see and the appeal of easily acquired fame. 

However, The Guardian newspaper suggests that reality TV is waning in popularity and tired and boring. 

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this topic.
