Simple grammar rules #3

Every sentence must have a subject and a verb. An object is optional. An imperative sentence may have a verb (action word) only, but the subject is understood.
*James teaches.
*James teaches English.
*Stop! (ie. You stop!)

An Imperative sentence gives instructions or advice, it can be an order, a direction, or a request or command. It may end with an exclaimation mark or a period.
