Could you help me find a word which means 'dedicated', but is really emphatic or can be used negatively.
"To tell you the truth, I wasn’t aware that in our country we have such a deplorable situation with vaccination. I used to think, that the people who refuse to immunise their children are nothing but dedicated members of a sect (zealots), but it appears that the epidemy of this madness is spreading across large swaths of society."
