One of the best Medieval Village in Italy: "Gradara".
7 years agoA way to learn a language it's also to discover unknow places and their histories.
A few weeks ago, GRADARA, was nominated one the best medieval village in Italy.
Gradara is located on the MARCHE region (Centre Est side) and is unknow to most of turists.
In the castle of Gradara, visitable today, happened the history of "Paolo and Francesca" told by Dante on the Divina Commedi'sa opera. The village it's really preatty and, near Gradara, you can find a beautiful countryside and incredible beaches.

Salve Federica, Someone just happened to recommend the best translation of Dante's Divina Commedia in Spanish (Ángel Crespo, ediciones de Galaxia Gutenberg 2002). Gradara castle as the background of the story paints a beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing this info! :)
