About Me
My name is Isabel Estrada and I am a highly qualified and dedicated foreign languages professional. I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, studied in Spain and Germany, and have lived and taught in various other parts of the world, giving me ample experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language in local, international and multicultural contexts. Currently, I live in Lisbon, Portugal, where I am studying the Portuguese language and giving private Spanish classes, both in person and through online platforms.
I’m a friendly person and as a teacher I strive to give students a challenging but supportive experience that helps them to improve their confidence to communicate in Spanish and learn more about the language and the diverse cultures connected to it. To do so, I work with students in order to identify their learning goals and design lessons intended to meet their objectives and preferences.

I have had regular lessons with Isabel for over 1 year and could not ask for a better teacher. I have had well over 100 lessons with her and have never had one where she is not extremely patient and enthusiastic. Every lesson is fun and you can tell she really enjoys her job. Her English is fantastic and it explains everything easily and concisely and have found my progress has accelerated since I have been having lessons with her. If you want to learn Spanish I could not recommend Isabel highly enough, she is a first class tutor.
