Hi, I am from Mexico, I speak Spanish and English. I have a bachelor degree in Pedagogy , I’ve taken Professional Development courses in my own country and abroad, among them a course for teachers in Cervantes Institute. I’ve worked in different schools around 8 years and 5 years online teaching.
My lesson plans are adapted according to the needs of each student, from beginners to advanced.
I like to get to know people from all aver the world. I believe meeting people from other countries open your mind and help you see life through others perspective.
During my classes you can expect to have a dynamic, open, interesting, engaged and respectful environment.
- Conocer tus objetivos y razón de aprender español y valorar tu nivel.
- Pequeña clase de un tema específico.
- Breve retroalimentación de tu curso especializado.
Priscila is detail-oriented, provides cultural insights, and helps me greatly understand vocabulary and grammar that I struggle with. She kindly answers all of my questions. The material aids the classes a lot too. Highly recommend!
Priscila is wonderful! She has been teaching me Spanish for over a year. A typical class structure is the first 25-30 min is pure conversation and the last 30 min is a grammar lesson. Of course, she is great at adapting to your particular needs so if you are not ready to converse yet, she would probably spend more time on vocab and grammar as needed. For the last couple of sessions, we have been engaging in an hour of conversation which is great practice for me. I am nervous to speak, but in the controlled class setting, I feel confident and safe to attempt speaking.
Priscila is patient, knowledgeable, super easy to talk to (I feel like we are old friends!), and encouraging. She is never annoyed when I make the same mistakes or ask her to repeat something. Her English skills are solid and she easily navigates both languages to help you. She also offers an immersive summer experience in Oaxaca where she will be your tour guide AND language teacher. I hope to participate in her summer course offerings soon.
