Mafe is a highly experienced instructor, native Spanish speaker, and bilingual in English (a great advantage for English speaking students who are learning Spanish as their second language.)
Something that I really appreciate about Mafe is their creative and thoughtful approach to teaching! They often use examples in grammar and vocabulary lessons that reference the learners’ profession, hobbies, or friends and family, making the learning process more engaging, and preparing would-be Spanish speakers for expressing what really matters to them in a new language.
Mafe also shares a varied knowledge of culture, travel, history, and socio-political issues in Latinoamérica and beyond. This provides the student with a deeper understanding of the Spanish language in its context, as well as increasing their capacity to hold more enriching conversations.
I confidently recommend Mafe as a Spanish language teacher to help you achieve your Spanish language goals!

Maria Fernanda is a fantastic teacher!! I cannot say enough good things about her. She's easy to understand, easy to talk to, and her English is really good. I am so lucky I found her - I only wish I found her sooner!! I have already seen much improvement in my Spanish.
