About Me

I love working as a teacher. This job allows me to meet new people and I feel very happy when I see my students make progress.
In addition to teaching, I like reading, learning languages myself and watching movies. I recently started learning Android Development and I feel really excited about it. The topics I enjoy talking about are music, art, movies, literature, history, spirituality and health and nutrition. I consider myself to be creative and innovative and I am always learning new things whether for my job or personal pleasure.
In addition to teaching, I work as a translator and I have worked with several researcher, film makers and journalists.
Among my clients were university professors and Phd students from King's College London, Manchester University, London School of Economics and Political Science, Skye Fitzgerald whose documentary : Life Boat was nominated for the Oscar's in 2019.

I have 7 years' experience teaching languages online. While much of my experience has been in teaching adults, I enjoy teaching children as well. I think that the online format is ideal for children because of the different tools that can be use to make the lesson interactive.
Adults can benefit from this as well! My students describe me as full of energy, encouraging and creative. Being a language learner myself, I understand the challenges that my students may have and I believe that empathy and encouragement are the best way to help my students overcome any obstacles they might face.

My Lessons & Teaching Style
I use a variety of tools in my lessons according to the student's level and needs.
1- For children and absolute beginners, I use whiteboards an applications such as paddle in order to make the lesson engaging and interactive. This allows me to gamify the lesson and achieve learning goals while allowing students to have fun.
2- For adults who wish to take a test or learn the language formally. We use a textbook + google drive to write notes about the things we cover. I also use google classroom to organize the contents of the class and give students homework.
3- For conversation practice, I choose a supporting text, video or selection of quotes on which to base the conversation.
