Eight New English Words for 2019
Did you know that every year, new words are added to English dictionaries? The Oxford English dictionary and Miriam-Webster dictionary both add hundreds of words each year. Here are eight of the new Miriam-Webster words in 2019. I've only included words that I know and have heard in regular conversation (not the obscure ones!). How many of them do you know? What trends do you see among them?
