Greetings, I'm Ginger and I love languages and teaching ELL. I was born in Hawaii, grew up in Brazil, studied high school in Ecuador, and now I live in Florida. I've been teaching for over 17 years and have a wide range of experience with all ages and levels. I can help you with Business English, travel, preparing for job interviews etc. I often include idioms, everyday slangs, expressions, vocabulary, news articles, grammar, and more. I like to make my classes light, dynamic, conversational and fun. My trial lesson usually involves a light chat about you, your goals, a needs analysis and level assessment. We will focus on improving the skills you need to work on, be it listening, reading, writing, or pronunciation. Of course my classes include grammar and vocabulary but I bring content that is interesting to you, such as blogs, history, travel even songs (if that's what you enjoy) etc. Then some correction and feedback.

Não tenho palavras para expressar o quanto grato estou por ter encontrado a Ginger. Estou morando nos Estados Unidos há 5 anos, e já tive aulas com dezenas de professores. Inclusive participei de um programa de imersão na University of North Florida e completei todos os níveis até o Pre-University level. Depois fiz um curso de redução de sotaque na própria UNF com professores bem gabaritados; mas nenhum deles possui o que a Ginger tem, a fluência nativa e ao mesmo tempo a compreensão das minhas dúvidas na minha lingua materna - Português. Não basta apenas traduzir, existem diversas maneiras de se dizer a mesma coisa; mas com quem tem domínio dos dois idiomas é muito mais fácil. Nota máxima para essa professora fantástica!

It's always nice to have a lesson with Ginger. We start from some interesting document, but the conversation then ranges over many interesting topics. In this way, without any effort, I always learn new things to improve my English. I look forward to the next lesson
