Hi! My name is Fernanda Recillas, I am Mexican and I am a teacher for Spanish as a second language. I live in the Riviera Maya, one of the most important touristic areas in Mexico, where I work in one of the most well-known Spanish schools in the world. This has brought me in contact with people from different countries and cultures around the globe, which has taught me to cater to various needs students with different languages might have. I am available to work with learners of all ages, levels and nationalities.
My bachelor's and master's degree in the educational field helped me develop a teaching style which includes various methods, ranging from games, audio files, texts, and songs to more traditional exercises and conversation, all of which will be tailored to the interests and language goals of every individual student. To me the most important aspect is to spark my students’ interest for my language and culture, because I can guarantee that when you have fun with Spanish, you will learn it in a breeze.

Fernanda is an extremely professional and pleasant to learn from. She is an excellent teacher, very patient and thorough. I could tell she has many years of experience in this field. I highly recommend her for those willing to learn spanish language.

Fernanda has been my profesora for over one year now, typically hour per week. During this time she has demonstrated that she is highly capable, punctual, reliable and talented. She has Verbling-verified Spanish language qualifications and this knowledge and understanding shows in her clases. She is patient when I fail to remember or get stuck (which is often). I recommend her to you without hesitation.
