10 tips to deal with Arabic language oral exams

How to deal with Arabic language oral exams
  1. Listening

Most people will think that talking is the important part of the oral Exams but actually no it is listening always listen to the examiner carefully know what he want and what he ask about
  1. Know the contexts

What is the exam about what are the sections of the exam and know in which section you are?
Remember that one word can mean more than one meaning depend on the context I was said in
EX: word address & title means the same in Arabic 3anwan - عنوان
But if you are introducing each other I will mean address but if you are talking about an Article or story it will probably means the title
  1. Know your question tools

Question tools are fatal to exams you don’t want to answer the wrong question so know each single question tools and what each one is asking about and how to answer each one

  1. look for words you know

Oral exams are like fill the gabs game all you need to do is to look for words that you know and make a meaning out of it. Link the dotes to get to the meaning

  1. Use body language or sound tone

Body language or sound tone in the oral exams are as important as the language itself use them it is a great tool for example the word " good = جيد" I can use it to say that something is good or to ask you is it good or not !!!
  1. Timing

When did the examiner asked you a question is very good sign is it in the start meddle or end of the class
  1. Use the tech cheek – don’t be shy

Tech cheek is to make sure that you can hear and understand the question and the conversation so don’t be shy to make the examiner ask the question twice or even to change the form if you don’t understand say so
  1. Guess!!!

As plan Z guessing is very powerful tool if you ready don’t understand the whole sentence or simple missing one or two words but make sure that you guess based on the previous tips
  1. Lead the conversation

Always be a head suggesting topics and asking questions or even asking the examiner what he think of something remember it is a conversation not Q and A test
  1. Say what you know

Make it easy on yourself talk in topics that you know and love also don’t be afraid to make up thing just because you can talk about them for example if you can speak about Egypt monition Egypt in the conversation let him ask you about it and so on
