Hi, My name is Otília, I was born in Portugal and I'm a native Portuguese speaker. I am a professional teacher for more than 19 years, certified by the Portuguese Ministry of Education and a qualified teacher with a degree on Scientific Pedagogical Training for Teachers. At the moment I live in Eindhoven and I teach Portuguese as a mother tongue at the International School of Eindhoven. I am committed to create, administer and take part of different learning environments and activities, which give vast opportunities for the holistic development of students. Six years ago i began to teach portuguese language to foreign students and professionals living in Portugal. Since then i have been improving lessons according to european levels A1 to C2 and portuguese school curriculum, preparing students for exams, helping persons to be integrated in portuguese society and teaching tourists, immigrants and descendants of portuguese emmigrants all around the world. I use dialogical methods in language teaching and structured courses for begginers or advanced learners, adapted to all kinds of persons, children, adults and special needs students.
