About Me
My name is Abir and I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. If you would like to learn English in a fun and relaxed way then I am the teacher for you.
I studied Jewellery Design and Manufacture for 4 years and have obtained a BTech Degree under that qualification. I have tutored students while being a student myself and I have achieved a certificate in tutoring. I have also tutored young children in a private setting to improve their English as well as other subjects.
Since I received my teaching certificate in 2017 I have been travelling and living abroad (primarily Vietnam- being my current location- ) while teaching in classroom settings to children between the ages of 4 and 14. I have also worked with many adult to improve their speaking and conversational skills.
I am currently working at a lovely language centre and would like to fill my schedule and take on a few more students per week.
I really enjoy stimulating conversations, teaching, learning and sharing new ideas. I would like to help my students build on their communication and speaking skills to reach a higher level of conversational English. I am perfect to assist you with easy pronunciation and sentence structure.
I am a very patient teacher and will always adapt our sessions to suit your needs, strengths and weaknesses.
At this time I am focusing mainly on conversational English with children from ages 9 and up ,teens and adults. Please send me a message before booking for the first time. Thank you.
