About Me

Hi, I'm Peter and I teach English.
I'm South African born, I've taught at various schools and lived in many countries in the ASEAN, especially Laos, Thailand and Indonesia.

I want to help you achieve your purpose and open the world to you, by improving your English. Yes English is the key and we can improve your future by studying English and improving your pronunciation and hearing in conversations.

You will be able to watch American movies and enjoy them. You will become part of the international English speaking community.
We can have conversations about the subjects of your interest and develop your life with English becoming an asset in your life. I personally use interactive teaching as application gives awareness of use of the language and as you make use of the language it becomes a reality and grows in usage.

I know we must be goal orientated so that you can achieve your purpose with learning English, I hope to see you soon so that we can plan your studies together.
I've attached my CV showing my experience as teacher and my CELTA certificate as information about my history in teaching English in Laos and Thailand, in Laos I taught surgeons at the Mahosot hospital, Pankham Jampa Printers and several schools, even did editing at BKL News, and I taught in Nongkhai at the NYC college, ThaiBev management, Royal Nakhara Hotel and Convention Center, and even a year in Khonkaen.

I prefer teaching with Test Teach Test as it creates interaction and applied knowledge is easily sustained. Practice makes perfect so the next lesson is always opened with what was taught in the previous lesson. That is revision and refreshing the mind and refocusing on prior taught information and application enhances actual memory. This helps to develop the thinking and through application practice as practice is the best way to learn a language.
