ABOUT ME:
Hello everyone! I’m Carlos, a passionate native Spanish teacher from beautiful Málaga, in southern Spain. My interests span a variety of fields, including languages, history, reading, travel, watching movies and series, cooking, and, of course, sports—especially football and tennis.
Teaching is not just my profession; it's my passion! I believe that every interaction in the classroom is a two-way street where both teachers and students learn and grow together. I thrive on sharing my knowledge and experiences, and I’m excited to embark on this language journey with you.

ME AS A TEACHER:
For the past 10 years, I have had the joy of teaching Spanish to learners from all corners of the globe. My journey began in various Spanish schools, both in my hometown and abroad, where I spent 8 enriching years. Five years ago, I took the exciting leap into online teaching, initially as a hobby alongside my classroom role.
As time went on, my passion for online education grew, and today I am thrilled to be a full-time online Spanish teacher! This allows me to connect with students of all ages and levels from around the world, creating a vibrant and diverse learning environment.
My students describe me as proactive, flexible, enthusiastic, dedicated, and patient. I’m here to support and inspire you on your language journey, making learning Spanish a fun and rewarding experience.
MY TEACHING APPROACH AND PHILOSOPHY:
As an enthusiastic teacher, I prioritize the development of communication skills while also emphasizing essential areas such as listening, grammar, and reading comprehension. I believe that each student is unique, with distinct needs and learning styles, which is why I tailor my methods to suit individual preferences.
In my experience, a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn't work. I employ a variety of strategies, materials, and curricula to ensure that every student thrives in their language-learning journey. I firmly believe that self-directed learning plays a crucial role in mastering a new language, empowering students to take charge of their progress.
I conclude with my favorite proverb:
"To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world."

He is highly qualified as a Spanish teacher, yet very friendly and open, so I feel comfortable in our conversations and can make mistakes or ask questions at any time.
