About Me
Hello! My name is Marwa. I'm from Cairo, Egypt. I worked as an Arabic instructor for non-Arabic speakers at one of the most famous language centers from 2017 till 2019.
I really enjoy communicating with my students and inspiring them to achieve their goals of learning Arabic through activities that are developmentally appropriate, individually paced and personalized to each student's level and interest.
• I'm also TAFL certified instructor and I teach both MSA (Modern standard Arabic) and ECA (Egyptian colloquial Arabic).
• My methodology:
Using communicative approach to help the student grasp all the aspects of the language: Reading, writing, grammar, speaking and listening.
• My goal of teaching:
I work on facilitating the language to the learners and encourage them to use all of what they learn to their best ability in and outside class.
• Materials
I use all of the different material according to the course. For example, the modern textbooks of teaching the Arabic language, such as Al-kitab 2nd & 3rd editions from Georgetown University press, Lughatuna Al Fusha from AUC press & for the Egyptian dialect we use Kallimni Arabic series from AUC press. All of that in addition to our free materials designed according to the student’s needs & aiming to enhance the student’s participation in class & moving them forward in their language learning.
