About Me
Hello! I’m Morwenna, and I am from Bath, UK (¡En español abajo!)
I am fluent in Spanish and learning Catalan and Portuguese.
I love to travel and I am lucky enough to have traveled a lot and to have lived abroad. I have just moved to Barcelona, Spain, and I have lived in Spain a few times in the past (in Madrid, Seville and Huelva) and I loved it! I also enjoy reading, yoga and hiking .
I have a passion for languages and learning which I love to share!
I have a degree in English Literature and Spanish, a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpretation in the Public Services and a PhD about communication between migrant workers in construction - as you can see my focus and interest has been bilingualism for a long time now!
Me as a Teacher
I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and have more than eight years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught students from all over the world. I worked as a teacher in two primary schools in Spain and have also taught many private English and Spanish classes in many countries (UK, Spain, Peru and Kenya). I also have experience with young and adult learners. I am a supportive, engaging, and friendly teacher - as my reviews show! Seeing students build in confidence and enjoy learning is my motivation to teach!
My lessons & teaching style
I can help more advanced students prepare for exams or lead conversation classes on a range of topics of interest to the student. I am also happy to teach younger students through games, songs and other fun activities. I set homework if you request it, however I do expect all students to try to immerse themselves in the language whenever they can- through books, films, music etc. Any requests? Just ask! I tailor the classes to meet the student's needs.

Acabo de mudarme a Barcelona, España. ¡He vivido varios años en España en el pasado (en Madrid, en Sevilla y en Huelva) y me encanta! También me gusta leer y hacer yoga y senderismo. ¡Me apasionan los idiomas y aprender, y me encanta compartir esta pasión! Soy licenciada en literatura inglesa y español, tengo un máster en comunicación intercultural, traducción e interpretación en los servicios públicos y un doctorado que trata de la comunicación entre migrantes en las obras de construcción – ¡como puedes ver, el bilingüismo me ha fascinado desde hace ya mucho tiempo!

Poseo el título TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Además, tengo más de ocho años de experiencia enseñando inglés como lengua extranjera en varios países (Reino Unido, España, Perú y Kenia). He trabajado como auxiliar de conversación en dos colegios en España y he enseñado muchas clases particulares de inglés y español. Tengo experiencia con alumnos jóvenes y con adultos. Soy una profesora comprensiva, motivadora y amable - ¡como puedes ver en mis reseñas! ¡Ver a mis estudiantes llegar a tener más confianza y disfrutar de aprender un idioma es mi motivación para enseñar!
Mis clases & estilo pedagógico
Puedo ayudar y asesorar a los estudiantes más avanzados a prepararse para sus exámenes o dirigir clases de conversación sobre cualquier tema de interés para el estudiante. Además, puedo enseñar a los estudiantes más jóvenes de varias maneras (a través de juegos, canciones, actividades divertidas, etc.). Doy deberes si me lo pides, sin embargo, espero que todos mis estudiantes intenten sumergirse en el idioma en casa – a través de libros, películas, música etc. ¿Alguna petición? ¡No dudes en preguntarme! Diseño las clases para cubrir las necesidades de mis estudiantes.

Morwenna is an amazing English teacher and this is coming from a native English speaker. She has been providing me support with the verbal section of the GMAT exam.
It is very difficult to find an online English teacher that has a background in the English language. Her undergraduate degree in English literature enables her to provide a deep learning experience, not just surficial layer. You are getting a steal by choosing her as your teacher. If you really want to learn the English language and develop a strong foundation, you must book lessons with Morwenna.
