About Me
Hello, my name is Jerson Velásquez and I am from Guatemala.
I am currently a teacher of Spanish as a second language and I am studying Marketing at the Mariano Gálvez University in Guatemala.
I really like to travel, be in nature and enjoy music. I also love learning about economics, history, society, and culture.
As of now, I have been teaching Spanish to foreigners for three years, at first in person and now online. I consider myself a patient, cheerful person, friendly, and a good conversationalist.
In my classes you will learn about grammar and vocabulary, but above all I offer you plenty of conversation so that you can learn Spanish while we talk about your favorite topics. In this way communication is well-rounded and you practice speaking and listening at the same time. My goal is for you to gain confidence in yourself when speaking.
I also like to simplify difficult grammar concepts so that they are easier to learn and apply it to your daily life.
I don't speak other languages, only English at level A2, that's why our classes will be full immersion in Spanish.
