About Me
Hello! My name is Ben. I am a TEFL-certified Native English Teacher with over 15 years experience. I taught in a classroom setting in South Korea for many years, and am now teaching on Verbling from my home in the United States.
The most common kind of lesson plan I use includes:
1. Everyday English - We will ask each other common everyday English questions: "What time is it?", "What day is it today?", "How's the weather?", "What did you do today?"
2. Reading (+vocabulary, comprehension, and discussion)
-We will take turns reading a book or news article. I have many different books and articles for all reading levels.
3. Conversation (topical or casual) - We will take turns asking each other questions about any topic, or we can just have an open conversation.
We can incorporate grammar, writing, listening, spelling, dictation, travel English, exam practice, or interview preparation as needed.

Ben is a very passionate and diligent teacher. Besides, he's so humble. I’ve been interested in English education, so I have experienced so many English private companies and many teachers, but this is the first time I have experienced such a faithful and thorough feedback. Even though it is an online class, he bought study materials for children. ( the study material is high quality so it’s appropriate for adults not to mention kids and it has a solid curriculum) so even if you don't go to an English academy, if you keep taking classes with him regularly and constantly, I'm sure you will reach your desired level of English. I'm busy these days with big issues at home, so now only my son attends the class, but soon, as an adult, I will also sign up for his class and start English conversation classes soon. You should not hesitate taking Ben’s class. Anyway, I highly recommend his class.
