About Me
Hi, I am Birgit and I would be happy to help you with learning and improving your German. I have been a teacher for quite some time. I mainly taught English in a regular German school and also in Spain for one year. I don't have much experience in online teaching but I think that my offline experience will help me to manage. I have been living and working in different countries like Mexico, Spain, and the USA. I am interested in traveling as well as getting to know different cultures.

I have been having lessons with Birgit since the end of July, am B1 level wanting to reach C1 level and working my way towards that with Birgit. I really enjoy my lessons with Birgit and using the platform Verbling (new vocab from each lesson gets added to flashcards which I find really helpful to use), and find myself really forward to the lessons. I feel able to make mistkes and be corrected with Birgit which with other teachers I have found harder, and without that ability it is very hard to learn. The lessons and materiel used are always interesting and the conversation informative, in tersting and really enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend Birgit as a teacher for intermediate students wanting to advance, especially their abilty to speak German. Although I don't have the experience of being a beginner with Birgit, I think she would also be a great teacher for beginners - she is very approachable and encouraging.
Highly recommend and I look forward to my next class!
