About Me
Hi there! My introduction video is old but I still think it's good so I'm keeping it. What has changed? Well, now I live in Montreal. I moved here to get a PhD in Sciences of Human Communication at McGill University, with a focus on Second Language Acquisition. In other words, I am now devoted to the scientific study of how we learn foreign languages!
That is now my main occupation, but I would like to have a few consistent students on Verbling to link theory and practice. Besides, I love teaching, and I would like to keep doing it!
So, even though my overall availability will be limited, I will make sure to keep my schedule consistent every week. I will also devote as much time and as many resources to your learning as needed.
I think it is worth mentioning that I now strongly believe that the best way for me to help you improve is through conversation games (see plato.stanford.edu/entries/wittgenstein/#LangGameFamiRese). Thus, expect our lesson to be a series of conversations involving target structures and vocabulary, even as a beginner. It is not only going to be you talking (it's not all about practice!), but I will try to give you as much meaningful input as I can.
Do not hesitate to send me a message should you have any questions or requests!
