About Me
Hello everyone! I am Irina and I am a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language. I am new on this website but I have 4 years of experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language online and in person.
Just a few words about me: I graduated in Linguistics at the Baltic State University of Saint Petersburg and then got a degree in Teaching Russian as a foreign language at the University of Moscow. Now I live in Italy, and teach Russian to people from all over the world.
Why should you choose me? In my lessons I combine materials from the best textbooks in Russian language, I create my own exercises, games etc, we will watch movies and listen to Russian songs, discover russian history and culture. I pay great attention to pronunciation and communicating skills, as well as grammar and audution. Don't hesitate if you are only a beginner, I will be happy to have you as my student even if you don't have any previuos experience in studying Russian language. I love Russian and I am eager to share my knowledge with you!

I have finished 3 lessons with Irina and highly recommend her. I liked her right away and like her more with each lesson. She very knowledgeable, kind, patient and flexible. There are many tutors to chose from, and I'm sure many of them are good. But if you are not sure who to choose, I suggest trying Irina. You won't be disappointed!

Irina is the best teacher someone could have for learning a language. I feel incredibly lucky that I am her student, she has the significant qualities a teacher should have; very understanding, yet very disciplined. I highly recommend her if one wants to learn Russian. You can really tell that she has a good education history in this field.
