About Me
Hi
My name is Handri Westman (Teacher Han). I love to see people develop and grow and it would be a privilege to be able to help the students develop confidence in their ability to communicate in English.
My style is to have a comfortable, but exciting atmosphere where students feel confident enough to speak and learn from mistakes in a positive way. Students should learn while having fun.
Mistakes are an important element in growth and will be corrected in a patient and positive way. I use rewards and encouragement to keep the lesson interesting and to engage students it is important to use topics or examples of things in their life that would interest them.
My interests are sport and fitness, travel, movies, camping, gardening, sewing and crafts etc. I love the sea and to walk at the beach and swim. Of my best experiences were snorkling at the coral reefs and swimming with the sea turtles.
Have a 120 hour TEFL certificate, Masters degree in Olympic Education, Bachelors degree and certificate in Higher Eduaction.
I have worked with people almost all my life. I have 20+ years experience with children as a tennis coach and also have children of my own.
I also worked as university lecturer and tutor at a tutor centre.
I have done 1300+ online English classes already.
I am comfortable with adults as well as children.
