About Me
I'm Maryam. I have been teaching Arabic to native and non-native speakers for the past 20 years. I have taught in various capacities and schools, including the German School as the most recent one. I also provided training for teachers on how to use technology for education.
I graduated from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University, with a grade of good. I also obtained an educational diploma from the same university, with a grade of excellent. Moreover, I took the following the training courses:
• English from the British Council
• CCTAFL for teaching Arabic as a second language from the American University of Cairo (AUC)
• Active Learning methods from the College of Early Childhood Education
• IT and gamification at the AUC
There are many compelling reasons to study Arabic, which may be largely due to the events in the Middle East. A command of the Arabic language is vital for understanding the Arab culture as well as the Qur’an. Whoever wants to communicate with the Arabs as well as better understand the Arab-Islamic civilization should study this language. There are many people around the world studying Arabic for professional reasons, including those working within government, international development and corporations. Many also learn Arabic for personal reasons, such those who convert to Islam.
If you are one of those let's start now.
