☀️ Please note that minimum student age set by Verbling is 13 years old, currently I am only accepting students aged 18 and older.
Learning languages is my passion. I enjoy learning the art of communication with people from different corners of the world.
I've always tried to self-teach myself languages, to me this process has made me aware of the difficulties surrounding language learning, and how to tackle them. I've lived and worked with people speaking over 50 different mother tongues, this allowed me to understand that learning is a personal experience, where one method does not apply for all. Therefore, I decided to customize my teaching and build it around personal learning profile, style, and history of the student. I believe that learning a language does not only allow you to speak it, but it teaches you the mindset, history, and culture of people who speak it. This is a goal which I aim to reach while teaching Arabic, I hope to transfer my Syrian culture through language, syntax, and grammar (In a fun way, away from rigid learning techniques!)
Note: I might be taking 5 minutes between back-to-back lessons, in case of any delay in joining the class, I will be sure to notify before the class time begins. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
Angie teaches with a fantastic understanding of how the Arabic language can be approached and understood by English speakers. She structures lessons very thoughtfully and explains things thoroughly.
Angie is a fantastic instructor with incredible insight as to what would benefit the student the most. Angie's knowledge of Arabic (Fus'ha and 3mmeyya) will help an advanced student that has studied Arabic for a +6yrs (me) as well as a beginner. Not many native speakers have the command of Arabic that Angie does.
As a non-Arabic speaker working in an Arabic speaking country, I have been using Verbling for the past 4 months and have had couple of Arabic instructors. Recently, I have taken almost 10 sessions with Angie and 10 more to come. Angie is a very enthusiastic and talented tutor who invests her time to prepare tailored materials for specific needs of her students. As I have noticed, she does not depend on one training material and tries to use different ones and consolidate a very comprehensive paper. She is a patient and good listener who encourages her students. I observe that I have improved far better since I have started with Angie. I highly recommend her as an Arabic teacher.
