Bonjour,
My name is Anissa, an experienced, native and certified French teacher.
Professor of French and Social Sciences, I traveled the world and worked as well for NGO in humanitarian missions, as for Universities or High schools.
French native, passionate about the language of Molière and desiring to share my culture, I obtained a Master in Education and a specific Diploma to "Teach French as foreign language".
My Philosophy ? "Impossible is not French" N. Bonaparte
No matter age or level, everyone can learn and progress !
I have always sought to bring innovative and playful practices to my teaching.
Focusing on each student's individual level, interests, and goals, my classes are effective to achieve nice learning results in a shorter period of time.

I have taken 100 lessons with Anissa over the past year. She is AWESOME. She is always present, prepared, and personable. She has an extensive depth of knowledge in French education, and really great workbooks/slides for study. She always gets me excited to learn, and even when I've had a bad week, finds some way to motivate me through laughter.
The lessons are structured to build upon one another, and have fun self-made infographics. These are particularly funny, and memorable. So whenever I forget something, I'm able to quickly remember some silly thing from the materials.
She encourages me to practice conversational French, along with other rigorous grammatical concepts. So it's really great to learn how French is actually used, and not just "textbook' French. I really valued that, and enabled me to visit France and have some real conversations.
Anissa holds my most treasured meetings every week, and I always look forward to whatever our lessons entail. After about 100 lessons with her, I can say she really is the best.

Anissa is fantastic. She is energetic, involved, thoughtful, happy and always willing to inject energy into the lesson. Always prepared and always bright and sunny. She is willing to go the extra mile for her students to accommodate their needs She is a lovely teacher, making time go by seamlessly. I highly recommend.

Anissa is an incredible teacher. We have only had one lesson but I feel that I have gained a great deal of understanding about the French language from her. She made contact earlier in the week to gain an understanding of my level and had obviously put in a lot of preparation into our class together. She too puts you at ease very quickly, a great sense of humour, and real knowledge of the language... I cannot rate Anissa highly enough.
