About Me
Hello!
I am Chantal, a native French speaker. I also speak English fluently, and I have some knowledge of Spanish. I have been a Certified Secondary School Teacher for 20+ years, and I am still just as passionate about teaching!
Together, we will practice the four skills of language learning: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. For having learned two languages myself, I understand how intimidating language classes can sometimes be. That’s why I craft your lessons according to your needs. You will be able to hold a conversation in French in no time. Yes, you can express big ideas with small words, even as an absolute beginner!
I generally provide the material and tools you need, but I am opened to any suggestions you may have in terms of material or topics you are most interested in.
On a more personal note, I love reading, traveling and discovering new cultures, craft booking, collecting vintage postcards… among many other things. My motto is: "Be kind".
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. I look forward to seeing you in class.
