About Me
Hello Everyone!
I'm James, I'm an IELTS and Business English teacher and I have been teaching ESL/EFL online and in person for over 4 years! I have taught and lived in China for over a year, I also taught in Spain and lived there for a year. I have traveled and taught throughout Europe and I'm currently living and teaching online in Thailand and throughout South East Asia! I have my TEFL, TESOL, Business English and Teaching Young Learners certifications. I have been specializing in the IELTS online for the past 2 years. I love teaching Business English and IELTS because it helps people achieve their long-time and most important goals and dreams. When my students get the job they were applying for or are accepted into the University of their dreams it makes me feel great! That's why I love my job! I enjoy traveling around the world and meeting new people, learning new languages, constantly improving my teaching technique and playing/writing music, playing board games, Dungeons and Dragons/Pathfinder and Listening to lots of Podcasts and Audiobooks!
As far as my Teaching Style and approach to language learning go I find that lots of real-life examples and plenty of practice/homework are the keys to success. In my classes I like to challenge my students with total language submersion and a combination of assessment tests to find your exact strengths and weaknesses and PLENTY of homework and extra assignments (if that's what you want)
