Nice to meet you! I’m Jake, a native English teacher from the United Kingdom. I’m TEFL-qualified with advanced degrees in languages and translation, and have been teaching English for several years. In 2016 I made the move to teaching English online, and I’ve never looked back.

I've just finished my first lesson with Jake and it was really amazing. Jake was very helpful and supportive during the session and also before it. He is a very skilled tutor and has high command of teaching English. He is quite able to illustrate the meaning of any new words / expressions to his students in a very easy way. The most important thing also, he is quite flexible with the student needs and looks for the most convenient way for the students to learn. I absolutely recommend Jake to anyone wants to improve his English with a skilled and professional tutor and definitely I'll consider booking more classes with him.

Jake is an excellent teacher! He corrects me when necessary and helps to find the correct vocabulary. He is also very clever guy and interesting conversation partner. He always finds the very interesting topics for discussion and uses a friendly way to encourage you to speak. I knew many interesting facts about British people and culture from our lessons.
