About Me
Hi, my name is Rubi. I have been an online English tutor for 13 years now. My students live all over the world like Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Brazil. In addition to being an online English tutor, I have also taught English and public speaking to Grades 7-10 and reading for Grades 1-3.
Through my years of teaching experience, I have learned that every student is different. They have different English Language abilities, ways of learning, interests and hobbies, and learning paces. Because of this, I provide a highly customized lesson for every student. I make sure that every lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs, interests, and learning pace. I offer a wide variety of lessons that you may personally choose from.
I teach 4 main types of lessons namely;
Grammar, which includes sentence construction;
Reading that can be pronunciation and article discussion;
Speaking for business English or Conversational English; and
Reviewers for English tests or Job interviews.
As a tutor, I am also happy to help you prepare for your presentations. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. I was able to help a lot of my students prepare for research presentations. I could also help improve your papers and essays, finish your English homework, or just have fun talking about anything under the sun as you practice your English skills.
