About Me
Hello, I'm Steven and I'm from Manchester, UK. I have a Master's degree from Cambridge University and CELTA English teaching qualification. I have thousands of hours of English teaching experience since 2012. I first taught in Japan and then Spain and now teach online.
I like to focus on natural, real English and the advanced grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation that you will need to speak at a high level.
My teaching style is to create unique lessons, exercises and homework for you to target your weaknesses so you improve as quickly and efficiently as possible. Having fun is extremely important so I aim to have natural conversations about topics that you and I both find interesting. After the lesson I will give you personalised notes to work on your weaknesses. I'll give you homework on these topics so you improve and don't keep making the same mistakes.
I love learning about different cultures which is why I find English teaching so interesting. Please share your culture with me and convince me to visit your home country :) I've been very lucky to be able to travel to lots of countries in Asia and Europe, also America and Uganda.
Before teaching English I studied engineering so I can help you with technical or university level English.

Steven is absolutely one of the best tutors you can find. I've been working on my English with him for some time, on and off, sometimes focusing on writing skills and nowadays on speaking skills, and he's been just wonderful. He definitely knows how to adapt his methods to students' needs.

It was my first class with Steven today. He is an excellent tutor and has a lot of topics to talk about, in addition to this, he has a wide range of materials to use with his students and he is very attentive to the student's needs.
