About Me
Hi! My name's Irene. I am a responsible and proactive language professional with a kind character and excellent communication skills. Focused on helping people improve their English and Spanish knowledge and skills in order to achieve their personal or professional goals. A lifelong learner. I love reading novels and everything related to respectful education (articles, blogs, etc.). I also love traveling and meeting new people. The most beautiful country I've visited so far is, with no doubt, Costa Rica... ¡Pura vida!
Although being a teacher was not on my mind some years ago, I've realized that since I love languages, I love helping people learn them as well. I feel really comfortable teaching, and seeing how my students improve their skills is just amazing!
My way of teaching is, in fact, quite simple: I try to connect with every student in order to find something that really motivates them. Every person has their own needs and likings, so I use that feedback in order to prepare the lessons. I use a wide range of resources, so the student can get in touch with the REAL language. I truly believe that learning a new language should be as natural as learning our mother tongue.
