👩🏻🎓 ¡Hola! Me llamo Lola y soy de Sevilla, España. Soy profesora de español titulada por el Instituto Cervantes y antes de la pandemia trabajaba como profesora para inmigrantes y refugiados en varias ONG's.
Actualmente, doy clases online a adultos y recientemente terminé un Máster oficial de Educación y enseñanza de idiomas en la Universidad.
❤️ Me encanta enseñar español y soy una profesora muy paciente. Creo que el estudiante debe hablar más que el profesor en la clase.
Me encantaría ayudarte con tu español a través de temas de conversación diferentes y prácticos. Estoy aquí para darte confianza para expresarte y explicar posibles errores si fuera necesario.
🚩 Creo que una buena conexión alumno-profesor, es fundamental para sentirse bien hablando un idioma extranjero. Por eso, me encanta conocer a mis alumnos, aprender de ellos y tener buenas conversaciones.
💬 Me interesa el arte, la historia, los idiomas, la cultura, la política, los derechos humanos y lgbtq+, la igualdad...También me encantan los animales, la naturaleza y el trail running.

👩🏻🎓 ¡Hola! My name is Lola and I am from Seville, Spain.
I am a qualified Spanish teacher from the Cervantes Institute.
Before the pandemic, I worked as a Spanish teacher for immigrants and refugees in different NGOs. Currently, I teach online to adults and recently I've completed a Master's degree in Education and Language teaching.
❤️ I love teaching and I am a very patient teacher. I believe the student should speak more than the teacher. I would love to help you with your Spanish through conversations about different useful topics. I'm here to give you the confidence to express yourself and explain possible mistakes if needed.
🚩 I think that a good student-teacher connection is essential in order to feel comfortable speaking a foreign language, that's why I love to know about my students, learn about them and have great conversations.
💬 I'm keen on art, history, languages, culture, and politics, human rights and lgbtq+, equality...etc. And also I love animals, nature, and trail running. What are you interested in?

Lola is the best! I've been taking lessons with her for 7 months now and she took me from a low B1 to C1. As hard as you're willing to work, Lola will match you and take you all the way. I looked for what seemed like an eternity to find a teacher like her: qualified and licensed, but innovative and engaging. Songs, films, cartoons, writing assignments, fun exercises --however you learn best, she takes note and adapts. She spots weaknesses and helps you to work on them, and she knows exactly what you're capable of and will challenge you without demotivating you because she knows how to guide her students' learning in a structured, professional way. The best part is she's a great person who cares about her students' lives and interests. It's always a pleasure to come to class!

My first formal class with Lola went very well as we talked about the marketing campaign for the Spanish lottery La Primitiva. I enjoyed our class and the topic of the day "El destino es caprichoso" ("Destiny is whimsical"). Every minute of the one hour session was worth it. I was able to learn new vocabulary and phrases; and was also was able to use the subjunctive mood during the conversation. I am looking forward to our next classes as I am sure we will be talking about very interesting topics in the background as Lola helps me to improve my Spanish.

Excellent class as always! Lola is a fantastic teacher with great lesson activities. She has really helped me improve in the areas I'm struggling with, while at the same time teaching me so many interesting things about Spanish culture. I look forward to our class every week!
