About Me
Japanese is NOT just about words and grammar—it’s about PERSPECTIVE, CULTURE, and the STORIES behind it all.
Too often, language is taught like a formula, disconnected from its DEEPER meaning. That’s why it feels confusing, why the rules don’t stick, and why it stops being fun. Does this sound familiar?
① Not knowing where to start
② Particles!
③ Conjugations
④ て-form
Without cultural and historical context, particles feel random, formalities rigid, and expressions meaningless.
In my lessons, I’ll help you see why Japanese works the way it does. Once you understand the “WHY,” everything clicks. It’s not just a language—it’s a way to think, connect, and experience life.
Teaching Japanese is not my work, it is my PASSION. It always makes me very happy when I meet people who are interested in my language.
I tailor my lessons to suit you! I prepare each class according to your language needs as well as your interests and personality.
Me as a Teacher:
I specialize in helping ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS to intermediate learners who feel STUCK or don’t know WHERE TO START. My lessons are LOGICAL and STRUCTURED, breaking Japanese into manageable pieces to build your confidence step by step.
I know the struggles—particles, conjugations, て forms—but I’ll show you not just “what” to use, but “WHY” it works. My focus is on real-world applications: mastering casual conversations, expressing opinions, and understanding cultural nuances.
Every mistake is a stepping stone. My teaching is clear, encouraging, and always tailored to your unique learning style.
In my lessons, we focus on three steps: understanding structure, exploring culture, and building instincts for natural communication. No more random memorization—everything we do will connect to a clear goal.
How we proceed
1) Please feel free to message me with your level and aims, then I make a plan for you.
2) While doing trial lessons, I will tailor my lesson to cater to your needs.
3) If you like the trial, let's start full lessons with me.
I can help you with

• Listening

• Vocabularies
•Phrases, expressions, and slangs

Hopefully, we can find a suitable time within that timeframe, but if not, please feel free to let me know your preferred time.

You should study with Moto-san, his English proficiency far exceeds the average Japanese instructor. If you have specific and detailed questions he is able to understand and answer in a way that will leave you enlightened! Also his energy is the best, I am always happy when I meet with him.

I had my first regular class with Moto sensei today. It was great. We reviewed what we learned in the trial lesson and worked through some new material. He is very patient. I look forward to more classes.
