About Me
Hi, everyone! I'm Chie and I'm a native Japanese speaker. Are you interested in Japanese culture, food, TV shows or history?? I've taught Japanese for beginners, intermediate and advance students alike for 5 years, so if you are just starting out don't worry. My lesson is focused on conversation so that students have a chance to interact through verbal communication and participate in the learning of a new language, as well as, have fun in our class. I look forward to having the privilege of helping to introduce a new culture, as well as, the experience of learning a new language to you.

Chie-san always comes up with things to talk about, and it helps me to think of other ways to express myself/my thoughts! Also, I was always confused with the passive form but she used pictures to explain it very simply to me.

It's my 2nd (full) lesson with Chie-san and it was fun yet again! She has a way with getting me to speak, always coming up with topics and questions to ask. Last time we learned some grammar and practiced it. I want to focus on grammar and speaking practice (including practice using the grammar I learn), and so far so good. She is flexible and accommodating and shows genuine interest in what I say. I am so happy to have her as my teacher!
