I'm a CELTA-certified, IELTS, KET, PET, FCE (Cambridge Assessment) examiner. This helps me to assess my students' level and give the classes a more custom and tailor-made approach to the students' needs and weaknesses. I am very patient with different types of students. If you need to think about what to say, no problem. I will encourage you to think and be comfortable.
I have been teaching international exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge Assessment), academic English, business English, and doing a wide variety of English coaching courses to various cultures for the last 6 years.
In that time, I've worked as an academic coordinator for a world-renown language institute. I've started my own English teaching company in Colombia. I've created curriculum programs, tests, material for all levels.

Jeff is a very professional and prepared teacher. He's excellent. One of the main reasons to start these English classes was to improve conversation skills and to correct grammar mistakes. Jeff was able to do it in a very relaxed conversation (initially we discuss general themes and then a specific topic. He corrected my mistakes, during the conversation, always being very patient and helpful. He has good materials, a excellent methodology and provides clear feedback. Thank you for the class.

I took classes with Jeff to prepare for the IELTS and I can't stress enough how much he has helped me prepare for the exam. Every class is really methodical, and you get great feedback. I honestly can’t imagine having a better experience preparing for IELTS than the one I had with Jeff. He is also really resourceful and uses lots of different tools that are of great help, such as keeping a record of all of our speaking sessions to check them later and realize your mistakes and how to avoid them. I would also add that he is a great teacher outside of exam preparation and can really help you with grammar or pronunciation. I would recommend Jeff to everyone, from beginner level to proficiency, that wants to improve their English level.
