About Me
I am Ms Leena, a Marathi and Hindi language, literature and Indian cultural studies tutor.
I was born and grew up in India but now living in the US for the last 25 years. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in Marathi, Hindi and English. I have completed graduate coursework at Minnesota University, specifically in teaching languages virtually.
Languages and teaching are two of my greatest passions. I have been teaching beginner to advanced levels of Marathi/Hindi courses for the last 13 years to 300+ students. Several of my students have won prestigious scholarships such as Critical Language and Fulbright scholarships.
My focus is always to empower you - the student - whether you want to visit India, communicate with your Marathi/Hindi-speaking colleagues or relatives, improve Marathi/Hindi for academics, or just understand movies without subtitles because they are so much fun to watch! I have advanced experience in tailoring curriculum to meet your language needs whether you are a beginner or a native Marathi/Hindi speaker.
