About Me

I am a retired English teacher with experience in both the English and French education systems. I have lived in France for 25 years and have worked in Business Schools, the French technology schools as well as in a lycée. I have working experience in agriculture again in both the UK and France. All my teaching has been based on individualised learning systems using one to one teaching as much as possible.

Teacher Peter is such a patient and dedicated teacher. He is very calm, polite, and is always well-prepared with interesting video clips or documents about grammar points or vocabulary. I really like his teaching method in which he would explain things, especially difficult vocabulary, in a simple way and he would make them easy to understand. He teaches a wide range of topics, from politics, economics to philosophy, ... He is very punctual and well-organised. He also understands the culture of the student's country, so that conversations with him are always nice and make me feel comfortable to open my mouth to talk.

1. He is thoghtful and patient when i speak very slowly

The speed of his voice is appropriate and his pronunciation is easy to understand. He never expressed irritation and wait so that i can speak the whole sentence.

2. He deserves to be praised by his punctuality and preparedness.

He never asked me to reschedule and was always on time. Also, He uploads some video clips to talk about before the lesson and they make us have conversations of various contents.

3. He is clever and knows many interesting things.

Besides video clips, he helps me to say a lot by asking interesting questions, which is important when it comes to practicing speaking in English. Time flies when i talk with Peter who has extensive knowledge.

4. He is a veteran teacher and compliment students

I think complimenting students is Peter’s prominent teaching strategy. Whether it is or not, i am sure that it works and highly effective. One of the biggest problems which Korean learners have is lacking in confidence, especially when they speak. His sincere compliments made me talk a lot more.

P.s Thank you for helping me a lot, Peter. I look forward to talking with you again. 😄👍
