About Me
Hi! My name is Roberta, I live in Italy and I have been teaching Italian on Verbling since 2019. Teaching has always been my passion and since qualifying as a teacher I have spent many years teaching the Italian language in schools, university and other educational settings in my beautiful country of Italy.
Perhaps you want to learn Italian to assist your knowledge while traveling or maybe you want to study to become fluent in the language. Whatever the reason, I would be very happy to help you on your journey.
My lessons will be fun, flexible and tailored to your needs and style of learning. For beginners, we will start with vocabulary and simple conversations, and for the intermediate and for more advanced students we will put more focus on grammar and detailed conversation. The materials and feedback I provide will suit your level of proficiency to help you feel comfortable and to demonstrate the progress you are making. For example, I use flashcards and quizzes for beginners and more formal reference material for the more advanced students.
I love the Italian language and I think you will too! So, if you would like to study Italian with me, take a look at the Trial Lesson information and send me a message.
Ciao!

My trial lessons
The trial lesson is 30 minutes long and the aim is to establish what your learning goals are and to give you an idea of what it is like to have lessons with me. It’s a chance for you to ask questions so that you know whether I am the right choice for you.
If you want to send me a brief message before the trial lesson to outline what you’d like to achieve (e.g. to be more confident on holiday or to learn the language for work) then this will help us to get the most out of our 30 minutes together.
