I'm Yulia, and I love teaching! I'm a qualified Russian teacher with experience teaching both adults and children, online and face to face.

I was born and grew up in Samara, Russia.
Travelling is one of my biggest passions. I've been to Poland, Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Turkey, Albania, Serbia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia.
Currently I'm living in the country of Georgia.
I have 2 adorable rescue dogs that I adopted when I was living in Armenia.

So far, I’ve had five lessons with Julia. She has a lovely disposition; she’s always polite, friendly, supportive, enthusiastic and very patient. Her lessons are always interesting and her teaching methods and materials are imaginative and creative; there’s no doubt she takes lesson preparation very seriously. I suspect she speaks other languages but she is certainly fluent in English and as such would be perfect for English speaking beginners and intermediate students. Furthermore, if you are an advanced student, I believe you would do very well to engage with Julia. I am approaching intermediate level and she never speaks English with me – It’s absolutely wonderful! However, if asked, she’s always ready to step in with an English translation and/or explanation but not until all other methods in Russian have been exhausted. In short – highly recommended; book some lessons with Julia; you won’t be disappointed!

Another great lesson with Julia. I was struggling with 'Forming and understanding impersonal sentences' but with her usual calm and gentle teaching style accompanied by an abundance of patience, I managed to make some real progress. Thank you, Julia.
