It was my first lesson and Yan made me feel very comfortable being a novice student learning a new language. She is very patient and expressive, I look forward to more learning conversations with her!

I've been working with Yan for about 5 months. The lessons are great. I never feel overwhelmed with the words and phrases I'm learning, and feel confident in my retention. I'd recommend her for anyone interested in learning from scratch.
