Willkommen!
My name is Jan and I want you to become fluent in German!
I hold a master's degree in German and I'm currently working on my PhD. I also hold a qualification for teaching German as Foreign Language. I have been teaching German for more than five years. In the past I offered German courses for refugees in Germany. Nowadays I mainly teach people from the academic field - for example, university teachers or university students.
Speaking as often as you can is the key to become a fluent speaker of German. Therefore, I mainly focus on oral communication during our lessons and I can help you with your written German. I am also a grammar expert. Genitiv? Plural? No problem! I will help you with all levels: A0, A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. I provide entertaining lessons with interesting information about German culture. For beginners I am also available as a teacher.
EXAM PREPARATION
If you have to take an exam for telc or Goethe in A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2, I can also prepare you well for it. My lessons follow the guidelines of the Goethe Institut and telc.

Deneme derslerim
We introduce each other and get to know to each other. Then I will determine your language level and we will discuss the goals that you set for learning German. I will also explain my teaching methods and how my lessons work. Of course you are free to ask any questions during the trial session.

Jan is an outstanding teacher. He finds out what I want to learn, and then we cover those topics. He gives doable homework, which we then go over during class; I really enjoy that. We work on all four of what I consider to be the most important skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Since I personally need to improve my speaking the most, and I told him so, he makes sure that I have ample opportunities to speak in German during our lessons. I'm really glad that I found this teacher - highly recommended.

Jan ist ein besonderer Deutschlehrer. Bei ihm kann nicht nur Deutsch gelernt werden, sondern man kann auch viele kulturelle Kenntnisse erlangen; zum Beispiel in Hinblick auf deutsche Literatur und Kunst, Malerei, Film. Er kennt sich mit fast jedem Thema gut aus. Er ist auch kompetent in historischen, sozialen, politischen Fragen und in Hinblick auf das Thema "gesundes Leben". Er ist eine sehr sensible, freundliche, emphatische Persönlichkeit, flexibel und anpassungsfähig, zeichnet sich aber auch durch die bekannte deutsche Präzision aus. Wenn Sie bei ihm bereits perfekt Deutsch gelernt haben, hilft er Ihnen gerne beim Erlernen der besonderen Sprache Norddeutschlands, dem Plattdeutsch.
