Hi! My name is Pierce and I'm a young and passionate English & German teacher with nearly SEVEN YEARS of EXPERIENCE. I focus on BUSINESS ENGLISH & ACCENT TRAINING, but I'm happy to help you with any of your English needs. During my undergraduate years, I worked with the American English Institute working mostly with students from China and the Middle East. During our lessons we covered reading, writing, grammar, as well as American culture and how to use language in our daily lives. Since then I have worked with different online tutoring agencies, as well as Speaking Agency, a tutoring service for business professionals based in France. I have also taught German language to beginners for a few years now and have had much success doing it! I try to have fun and interesting courses, focusing on daily usage of linguistics as opposed to dry and boring language training.

Hello students! My education includes a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in English Education, both obtained from Piedmont College. I have taught locally, abroad, and online. In addition, I also have extensive experience in human resources, writing, reading, editing, and communications. I love tutoring because I get to work one-on-one with students to meet their individual needs. Each student is unique, and nothing makes me happier than helping my students achieve their goals. I am a Maryland native who comes from and lives in a community where English is often not the first spoken language! For me, it's most important that you feel comfortable in my classroom. I want it to be safe and fun for you to learn! I have a music background, so music is more than welcome with me. I'm not afraid to be a little goofy, either-- whatever works best for you! I currently teach students from all over the world, so no matter the age, I've got you covered. I teach 6 year olds all the way to 18 year olds in the classroom, and have taught anywhere from 18 to 70 online.
