My name is Haleh and I'm from Iran. I've been teaching Farsi since 2011 in California, both in person and online. What makes my teaching unique is my experience with working with a variety of different ages and preparing them to reach to the point that they can read Rumi poetry in Farsi. I am very passionate about my work and I help them to become familiar with the Persian culture. I use different methods, different materials, and fun activities in order to make the class more interesting. I enjoy seeing my students improve in their ability to read, write, and communicate in Farsi.

اسم من الهه ست و اهل ایرانم. معلم زبان انگلیسی و فارسی هستم و شغلم رو خیلی دوست دارم. حدود 8 سال هست که مشغول به تدریس بصورت حضوری و آنلاین هستم و فکر میکنم زبان آموزان در طول پروسه ی یادگیری خودشون نیاز به یک راهنما دارن. کسی که راه رو میدونه و میتونه مسیر رو براشون تسهیل کنه. در مورد کارم به این جمله اعتقاد دارم که :" بجای اینکه یه ماهی به کسی بدی, ماهیگیری بهش یاد بده" و فکر میکنم بهترین کاری که یک معلم میتونه انجام بده همین هست که روش یادگیری درست رو به زبان آموزش درس بده. My name is Ellie. I'm a native speaker of Persian (Farsi) and I live in Iran. I am also an English teacher and I love my job. I got my MA in TEFL and my CELTA. I've been teaching English and Farsi for about 8 years now. I've taught online classes and I believe that learners need a good guide and a facilitator all the way through their learning process. I try to make my learners autonomous and I believe in "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"
