Hi! My name is Jorge Balboa. Te mando saludos desde Mérida, Yucatán. I'm from Yucatán, Mexico, a beautiful place where you can visit beaches, archaeological sites and cenotes. I was born in USA when my parents were living ilegally there, but I was raised in Mexico. I learned English for making a connection with my birth place, & I learned languages also help us to connect with new ideas, people and opportunities. I have a degre in education. My academic training & my own experience have taught me some important principles for learning a language in an effective way, such as: the Principle of Pareto, the Significant Learning, the Learning Pyramid & the Forgetting Curve.
