I am English and I have been living in Portugal for more than twenty years. I finished my C.E.L.T.A. in 2000 and was immediately employed by International House in Lisbon, where I spent 4 fantastic years improving my skills and gaining experience in different levels, including exam classes. I have simultaneously worked as a writer and a poet for the last ten years and have had my work published in a number of places. I have a huge passion for sculptutre, too and I spend a lot of time organising poetry days and exhibitions in my local area. I left IH to study art and sculpture for one year and then went back to teaching. I have been with my present employer ever since, which is a beautiful school by the sea here in sunny Portugal.
