Roberto is a friendly and fun instructor, but most importantly, he's an excellent teacher. He's always prepared with the lesson for the day and explains it in a easy-to-digest manner. One of the things I like most about Roberto is the conversational way in which he teaches. We often practice our current lessons by talking about our days, lives, and current events and this allows him to give insight into not just Spanish, but the culture and experiences in Mexico. His lessons have helped me communicate and breakdown the language barrier with my mother-in-law, and I'll always be grateful for that. Thank you!

Roberto is a great, patient teacher who makes learning fun. My Spanish is very remedial, and I was a little worried about how that would be in a one-on-one situation. I like that I can ask for clarifications in English, and we spent half of a lesson going over the difference between "por" and "para." The homework helps too. He has me write something short every week to read in class. I pick the topic, which helps keep it interesting. Anyway, I highly recommend Roberto.
