Hi! My name is Martina and I am from Valencia (Spain). I lived in Mainz and Berlin (Germany) for two years and right now I'm living in Belgrade (Serbia). I hold BA in Philosophy and MA in Bioethics and both reflect hugely on ways I understand and interpret the world around me, besides that in more formal way – part of my academic curriculum was CAP (pedagogical aptitude) which certifies me to be a teacher.
I have been teaching different subjects (not only Spanish for foreigners) for more than 8 years now and I taught almost all demographic groups. Teaching is my passion and I learn and strive to be better in it every day. My students are my teachers and I learn from them (and will from you in near future), each individual has been a great gift. By interacting through teaching-learning experience we are becoming part of each other’s experiences. The same goes for travelling, my other passion, which brings me joy of learning diverse perceptions, ways people live and cultures.
My teaching methodology varies from student to student since I tend to adapt to the ways my students learn, to ways they can comprehend and understand the language logic in the most sustainable way. So we can find ourselves exchanging recipes, commenting newspaper articles, playing games, singing songs or learning grammar and syntax rules in a more traditional way, everything is possible and we can, together, utilize everything from our environments to be teaching tool.
In case you want to start from the scratch – we can do it together, in case you want to improve your Spanish (whatever level you are at) - we can do it together, in case you want to practice conversation – we can do it together, whatever your needs in learning Spanish are – I strongly believe we can find common ground and work on it together.
We can cover together: grammar, orthography, fluency and pronunciation, vocabulary, syntax and we can try together to make it interesting and joyful.
