Olá! I’m André, a dedicated European Portuguese teacher from Porto, Portugal.
With years of experience, I’m here to help adult learners achieve their language goals. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or just want to experience the joy of speaking Portuguese fluently, my lessons are crafted to make learning enjoyable, effective, and relevant to your goals.
When I´m not planning or having lessons, I spend my free time listening to podcasts, reading, riding my bike.
I enjoy engaging conversation with my students about a variety of topics but there are my favorites: cultural aspects, travel, geography, food, music, cinema, science, nature and sustainability.

Typical lessons blend conversational practice with grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation exercises tailored to your specific needs. I emphasize real-world communication, providing tools that allow you to navigate confidently in everyday situations.
Classes are highly interactive, with plenty of time for speaking, listening, and practical exercises. I also incorporate cultural insights into my lessons, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the language in its authentic context.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I offer a structured yet flexible approach, adapting each lesson to your learning style and goals.
Currently, I´m offering general courses and exam preparation lessons for CAPLE Exams (A2 – CIPLE, B1 – DEPLE, B2 – DIPLE, C1 - DAPLE).
